CamelBak is the leader and original creator of the hands-free hydration systems since their creation in the early 1990’s in California. The CamelBakk Company was the first company to create a backpack system that could carry a person’s gear and also act as a hands-free hydration system. The company has four target divisions, outdoor sports which include mountain bikers, skiers, hikers, and runners, military, law enforcement, and government and industrial workers such as construction and Caltrans work crews. CamelBak has grown and expanded since it started in the early 1990’s, the company not only makes Hydration packs, but they now make chemical Bio defense hydration packs, drinking bottles that stay cooler longer for adults and children, and gloves that are widely used by the military. The company has also expanded into creating clothing garments that also double as a hydration pack. The CamelBak Company has always believed that proper hydration during any activity or sport can and will enhance performance.
