Chef's Knives
A Chef's knife, also known as a French knife, is a cutting tool used in food preparation. The chef's knife is an evolution of the butcher knife and was originally designed primarily to slice and prepare large cuts of meat. A modern chef's knife is a utility knife designed to perform many differing kitchen tasks, it can be used for mincing, slicing, chopping vegetables, slicing meat, or even cutting large cuts of meat. Today the Chef’s knife is the primary general utility knife for most cooks.
