An insole is the inner sole of a shoe where the foot rests. Insoles can come with a shoe or can be purchased separately for more comfort. Insoles can help with arch support, and any type of discomfort a shoe may cause on the foot. Insoles can be made from gel or any other material for of cushion. An insole can also provide warmth by inserting individual, air-activated heat packets.
