Humminbird 700030-1 AS HHGPS Handheld GPS Connection Kit

I purchased this harness to connect my Humminbird 597Ci combo depth/fish finder and chart plotter to my Standard Horizon VHF radio. This is the correct cable and is a drop-in connection for this application, however, this isn't made clear in Humminbird's description and literature. It is sold as a hand-held GPS connection cable (which it is) but apparently is also designed for the other Humminbird units. This cable allows passing the navigation data to the VHF radio for instant emergency broadcasting of this information. It also appears on the radio's display which is quite helpful.
