Kershaw 1660 Ken Onion Leek, Stainless Handle & Blade, Plain Blade

This blade has withstood every test as a tool at work (Metal Fab Warehouse) and home (popping beer bottles)over the past 6 years. What stands out the most for me was the opening assist spring broke after a million openings and kershaw sent one to me free (lifetime warranty). Kershaw also offered to replace my worn down blade if I sent my knife for the replacement. I just don't know how I will be able to part from it for a week.

I bought this knife over 3 years ago while traveling in New York state, and it has been on me ever since. I have always been impressed by the ease in which I can open and close it, and as a National Guardsman, I have numerous ways in which I use it on a daily basis. The pocket clip is a great way to keep it handy in the front pocket of your pants, and the ease in which I can sharpen the knife makes me a constant fan of straight edge blades over serrated ones. It is very easy to wipe down and keep clean, so no worries there either.

Great thin pocket knife. I carry it clipped in my pocket every day. It's barely noticeable, but always there when I need it. The clip is well designed and doesn't get caught on things like a bulkier or sharper-edged clip might. Knife is well built and is solid. Doesn’t feel "jiggly" at all like some other knives. Like any edge, the blade requires frequent re-sharpening to keep a super sharp edge. The knife fits perfectly in my medium-sized hand with a sufficient guard to keep fingers away from the blade. The blade's shape has advantages over other styles, depending on the application. I also wanted a knife w/o any serration in the blade. These can be hard to find in this style. Great knife for the price, I definitely recommend it!

I have been carrying a Kershaw Leek for over a year as my everyday carry knife. Its light, sharp and slim, everything and more I was looking for. It performs great and the automatic opening works great.
