For extra traction and a secure grip, the handles are outfitted with Trac-Tec inserts. The rough Trac-Tec material provides a non-slip grip even in wet and slippery conditions. New for 2007, we've added a Stone Washed Blur with its terrific handle look and S30V stainless-steel blade for toughness and ease of sharpening.

Review on Ken Onion Blur, Black Aluminum with Trac-Tec Insert, Combo Edge Blade

It is very difficult to find flaws with this knife. I am an individual that does not take care of his belongings in general, and I have not been nice to this knife either. Of course after a few years it is a bit dull, but that is normal. The inserts in the knife that make it feel as though you are holding a knife wrapped in sand paper. There is a certain sense of certainty and assurance when holding this knife because you know that one of the last things that will happen is this knife slipping out of your hands, no matter what your hands are coated with. Great knife for general day-to-day use.

Recommended? Yes. I recommend this product.
