• Application Tips
• Use only in a well ventilated area.
• Use on a clean, dry surface.
• Paint when the temperature is between 60°F - 80°F (16°C - 27°C)and humidity is below 60%.
• Prime bare metal with #228 Gray Primer. Allow one hour dry time before applying Engine Enamel colors.
• Apply 2-3 light mist coats of Engine Enamel color. Allow to dry 10 minutes between coats. Recoat within 4 hours or after 36 hours, otherwise paint may wrinkle or lift.
• Dry to touch in 40 minutes.
• For added gloss and durabilty, apply #229 Clear within 4 hours or after 36 hours of final Engine Enamel color coat, otherwise the Clear may wrinkle or lift. #229 Clear dries to touch in 40 minutes
